MPC-DM Maps - Eddie Van Halen skinned machine sniper riles?

Hello all. I'm sort of new to UT04. I've played it many times online when it was just UT - back in the day. I'm here now, trying to understand how downloading mods, skins and maps works - while playing online. Often, I'll be trying to connect to a server, it'll start dowloading many things, one after until the game loads. Just wondering if there's a better way to download all the custom things I'll need for maps I want to play.

I also want to know how I can play real people, not bots on your server. I played 2 maps last week that I think are the best I've ever seen. One was called "DM-Saloon" and I think the other was "DM-The-Loft". Both levels featured machine gun sniper rifles that were skinned like Eddie Van Halens' red, black and white taped guitars. - How do I access those maps again online? I really only want to play those maps. How do I join your clan? Thanks so much. Mike.
