Lets hear some thoughts from all ya music fans, who is the best drummer, guitarist, bass, best voice, male and female, and best band ever..................might be interesting.

bass - rodger waters- pink floyd
male voice - steve perry - journey
female - linda perry - 4 non blondes
best band - Pink Floyd

Drummer-Tommy Lee
Bassist- Jimmy Bain from -Dio
Woman singer- Lita Ford
I could go on and on,since my family is all musicians,but these are my favorites.... :razz:

I agree that is a tough one!!!

Guitar - Jimi Hendrix (keep in mind that this guy started out playing a Fender Stratocaster upside down! because they didn't make left handed guitars back then!!!)

male voice - Ben Heppner (tenor) but then I am fond of Freddy Mercury too
female - Ella Fiztgerald
worst female with a recording contract: Celine Dion
best band - Pink Floyd but I still listen to The Tragically Hip a lot more

Well I Rhapsodied Andres Segovia, and I like it. I'll throw some of his stuff into rotation.

New categories, eh? All right, I'll play.

Singer Songwriter - Tim Buckley, Jeff Buckley's father. Two tragic and premature ends. Sample tracks "Dolphins" and "Buzzin' Fly".

I tried to top Celine for "worst..." but couldn't. Although, the list of contenders is long.
