Having issues connecting

Hey guys,

I've been having issues connecting to the UT3 server. It just sits there and says connecting but never does. Also the ping seems to be a lot higher.

Thanks for letting us know, I too can not connect, not sure why. Hopefully it will be up and running soon. I wish Epic would get all the bugs out vefore they release a game

Thanks for the letting us know. I have restarted the server. As CB mentioned, it seems that Epic still hasn't fixed all of the bugs. I have read on other clan's forums that they seem to be having more problems with the latest patch than with the last one. I have seen some go back to the last patch. It seems that one work around is to download all the maps, play them once in single player mode, then try connecting to a server using those maps. I have also read that all custom maps need to be recooked with the latest patch. I really wouldn't want to have to do that. Plus I haven't had time to finish my own map because of dealing with this instability crap. Either way, it's not exactly the best way to get people to join in on the servers. So I am hoping that it will be resolved soon. Anyways, I will stop ranting. I am just glad that some people are still sticking around. I do like the friends feature and think that we should post our names so we can add more people to our friends list and be able to find out what servers they currently are on when we want to play. I will start another thread for that.

I tried to get in at lunch 12:45 today, there was a person in there yet i couldn't get in cause of a BIA vote menu error, version mismatch. I did notice a couple days ago Cruce had taken off the Bia vote mut so maybe when you brought it back in the versions didn't agree. I'm not gonna worry about it cause i will be reinstalling everything in a day or two when my new Ram and OS get here in the mail.

Cool guys. Thanks for working through the bugs. I wish they wouldn't have released such a bug ridden game. I think that it is going to be hard to get people to come back to the game if it doesn't get straightened out soon.
