UT3 Serv is Drunk

Postby JJJ13 » Tue Mar 18, 2008 1:55 pm

This is a new one....
So I got my new rig up and going with ut3 late last night. I was able to get in two maps...In between map 1 and map 2 it booted me. Then when i got back in I played the whole map and then at end would not allow the selected map to go thru and now it is stuck at where I left map 2(Dark Psycho City)

Cruce is there a console command for bringing up BIA, when like in this case home key isn't working??

Yes, there is a console command. I can't remember exactly what it is, but it does tell you the first time you join and you see the BiaVote welcome screen. I believe the command is mutate vote, but don't quote me on that.

Maybe I'm the drunk one....

Its gone and done it again, only one map played this time, it must be the BIA, it freezes only after i select next map after I beat up on the bot.

The console command is....mutate vote, but it wont come up after I have already picked and it froze on me.

The problem is the server hanging, but yet not showing any signs that there is a problem. But, I think I finally have a working script that will check the status of the server every 10 minutes and restart it if there is a problem. Let me know if this reduces the issues.

They switched maps with no issues, didn't even lose a player...still at 4, thats better than I could do yesterday. I might have to stop studying and join them..

I posted too soon they gone...I'll go and see if its a server issue....

Yep server issue, can't connect...So hopefully 10mins it will restart, if script works?
The map they selected that didnt go thru was "Subzero"

They left after being in Sub-Zero for awhile. This is a small map. A may remove it, but if they didn't like it, they could have voted for another mid-game. I just upgraded the WebAdmin, and it is back online.
